Isaiahsixeight is an ecumenical nondenominational Christian Mission organization. God led five men to create this organization to support mission efforts. These five men were active in missions primarily located in the eastern portion of Jamaica, one of the poorest regions on the island. These early mission efforts were supported and organized by members of Riverchase United Methodist Church in Hoover, Alabama, a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama. These mission efforts began in 1994, primarily as work teams to help rebuild Methodist Churches that were destroyed by Hurricane Gilbert in 1988.

As the mission efforts grew, we have included Basic Schools, some associated with other church denominations, building homes for the needy and a blind man, and supporting a children's ministry that has now grown into a youth ministry. We aid a Special Needs school and are attempting to develop programs that help people help themselves and others out of poverty. We are also taking computers into schools and communities.

We are also in discussions with others who have a passion for missions in other locations. We hope to support missions other than our initial focus in Jamaica if there is benefit for doing so.
